Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actor. She received an award called the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress in the Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her father is a theatre teacher at one of the country's top drama schools. At the Mangalia Gala for Young Actors, she won the Best Female Actor Award 2000. In 2008, she was honoured as an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. Anamaria Marinca - an actress with Romanian origin was the first actress to make her acting debut with Sex Traffic a British/Canadian TV movie for which Anamaria Marinca won the British Academy Television Award. Apart from her amazing performance in Sex Traffic, Anamaria Marinca is most famous for the role she played in Romanian artist-directed film 4 Months 3 Weeks 2, Days. The film was awarded several accolades including an award called the European Film Award Best Actress given by the London Film Critics. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 luni 3 saptamani e 2 days" (4 Months Three Weeks And Two Days) which won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. It also received two other awards, the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Also, she was in the Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she played Yasim anwar in the BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca appeared as Yasim Anwar in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven, in addition to in the Romanian drama Boogie. In the movie Fury (2014) in which she played Irma who was a German woman, who played Emma's aunt.
