Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the last four seasons. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were featured on One Tree Hill's episodes which helped propel her debut album in 2012 into Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015 also made it to the Top Ten. It was the end of the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to the country genre, and eventually went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. However, she made her acting debut as a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. guest appearances on TV shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she landed the part as Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season from 2007 to 2008. Kramer was then on TV as Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. Kramer became a part of the cast on CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she was on until the end of the show in 2012, about halfway in. The song was later featured in Jana Kramer, her debut album released in the year 2012. This song landed in Billboard's Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. Focusing on her music career following that, and not resigning from acting she appeared in films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. It received a boost from the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 among the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months on 23rd Dancing with the Stars season the singer was ranked in fourth place. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
