Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead role in the TV show 'Murder One', 'The West Wing', 'In Plain Sight' and Loaded. McCormack was the daughter of the owner of an ice cream shop and a clinical psychologist. The McCormack family does not have any relationship with entertainment. She went to Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce of her parents in the year 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and eventually graduated with a BA degree in comparative art. The actress began her professional career when she was just 12 years old, and she was a part of the stage production "Amahl & the Night Visitors, which was a Christmas-themed operetta. While she pursued her profession in theatre, McCormack eventually gained roles for both films and television. McCormack is today regarded as being one of the most versatile Hollywood artist.
